Working as a Personal Trainer for the last 16 years has taught me a lot about how to get the most out of my clients. My focus has always been to find the most effective protocol for the individual I am working with at that time.
I believe with a healthy body brings a healthy mind. With the right type of training there can be so many positive changes to your life. This includes improved body composition, increased energy, an all round stronger body and improved productivity. The main part is simply feeling better about oneself and getting the most out of life, whether this is at work or spending time with the family.
Everyone needs to move. So many of us, especially in central London, spend too much time in a sedentary state. Sitting is the new smoking and taking time for yourself each week to combat the effects of this sedentary lifestyle is imperative to improve every aspect of your life. This can slow down the ageing process and make you feel like a different person!
Being more proactive and improving small parts of your life can lead to big changes! It doesn't take much to take a step in the right direction. The longer you put off doing something the more of a detrimental effect it will have on your body, and even more importantly your mind.
I am qualified to assess your posture, strengthen weak links, and help you achieve the body you've always wanted.

My training style has been developed over all my years as a PT. I understand that the workouts need to be as effective and efficient as possible due to the lack of time my clients have! Taking this into account, every client has a different set of goals and objectives and I pride myself on adapting to these needs as required.

I use skin fold callipers to measure changes of body composition. I aim to do this every 6 weeks depending on the client’s goal. The clients whose aim is to improve health can feel the benefits nearly immediately!.

I spend my weekends with my family and friends, more often than not in front of my bbq!

The fitness industry has changed a lot over the years. Some changes have been great, for example the presence of online training. Sadly there is a dark side of under qualified PT’s flooding the market. Thankfully they just make the quality PT’s seem even better!
My focus has always been to find the most effective protocol for the individual I am working with at that time.

TESTIMONIALS

I have trained at BATG for a couple of years. Otto, Tasha and the team run the best fitness and PT studio in the area. They offer a Rolls Royce, bespoke and flexible service at a very reasonable cost to all their clients and are lovely down-to-earth people as well. The coffee shop serves an excellent brew and the atmosphere is second to none. Strongly recommend!

Having trained in various gyms over the past 30 years, these people are the best (which is the reason I have trained with them for more than 12 years). Colin, Joe, Natasha & Oliver are an incredibly dedicated, professional crew who take the time to make sure each client receives fully personalised training - no training 'templates' here! They take an holistic approach to really understand your needs (and the pressures you are under) before working with you to help you achieve the results you want, whether that's a PB, losing weight, toning up or just generally feeling better about yourself.

I’ve been training with Oliver for more than 12 years and at BATG since it opened. Must be the best PT Studio in London, the PTs and gym are first class.

I have been coming here for 6 months and training with Oliver, and it has been a fantastic experience. I was previously an unmotivated non gym-goer, but after getting a recommendation thought I would try out Bull at the Gate. Oliver has tailored his training to suit my needs, building up my strength and motivating me to learn to look after myself a bit more. The whole team, from Max and Charlie in the coffee shop to fellow trainers Tasha, Joe and Colin are friendly and great. Thoroughly recommended.
